ACC Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Khandallah & Churton Park Physiotherapy Centre is proud to work with ACC and their case managers to deliver vocational rehabilitation services.

We provide Stay at Work programmes and Stand-Alone Workplace Assessments to support injured clients to return to work safely following injury. Our services focus on identifying job demands, injury-related barriers, and practical workplace solutions that support recovery and work participation.

Our approach emphasises active rehabilitation, education, and early intervention to promote safe, sustainable work outcomes. We work collaboratively with clients, employers, ACC, and other treatment providers to support confidence, function, and long-term work capacity.

Concussion

ACC Concussion Services

Khandallah & Churton Park Physiotherapy Centre provides physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation for concussion injuries, including acute assessment and treatment through ACC’s Concussion Service.

While concussion must be formally diagnosed by a medical practitioner, physiotherapists play an important role in early assessment and management. As primary healthcare providers, we may be one of the first professionals you see after injury.

Where appropriate, we can initiate an ACC claim, begin physiotherapy management of concussion-related symptoms, and refer you to a GP for formal diagnosis while treatment continues. You may then be eligible for ACC's Concussion Services Contract.

Our focus is early management, education, and progressive rehabilitation to support safe return to work, sport, study, and everyday activities.

We will be able to liaise directly with your ACC case manager to request a referral. 

For non ACC related requests, please also contact us directly and we can discuss your vocational or concussion needs and arrange an appointment.
